Wireless Internet access

On a road trip through Oregon? Travelers driving through the state now have the ability to stay connected while on the road, thanks to the Oregon Travel Information Council’s (TIC) new Wi-Fi program. TIC provides wireless internet access at nine select Rest Areas and State Parks. Travelers using the wireless service can access four travel-related websites for free, and have access the rest of the world wide web at reasonable rates.

TIC’s wireless service is available at these locations (see map):

D River Wayside, Lincoln City
Harris Beach State Park
Harris Beach Rest Area
Valley of the Rogue Rest Area
Valley of the Rogue State Park
Midland Rest Area
Multnomah Falls Rest Area
Ontario Rest Area
South Beach State Park

Rates for visitor's to access the web through TIC’s wireless hot spots are $1.99 for 20 minutes, $3.99 for 24 hours, $7.99 for seven days, $32.99 for one month.
